Police are searching for a man who took a machete and slashed a woman with whom he had a previous relationship, her new boyfriend and another woman Monday morning in Union City. Union City Police Chief Charles Everett says the suspect repeatedly slashed the woman who apparently had recently left him. She is in critical condition at Jersey City Medical Center.
